Aubergine Bharthu

The aubergines are charred over a naked flame, separated from their skins, then chopped and added to a smokey masala. Made with tempered black cardamon, star anise, fresh chilli, onions, ginger and spices. The result is a deliciously smokey aubergine side or starter. 280g
Gluten free, Vegan.

Consume within 4 days
Store at 4c

Heating instructions:

Remove the film from the tray and place the contents in a non-stick frying pan and heat gently. Keep the Bharthu moving so it heats up evenly.
Garnish with coriander and serve with a slice of lemon and Chapatti.

Tip:
You can eat this dish cold too. Simply add some thick yoghurt and mix through for a delicious dip. Serve with Poppadoms.

Aubergine, Onion, Sunflower Oil, Tomato, Ginger, Garlic, Coriander Leaves, Salt, Ground coriander and Cumin seeds, Garam masala, Turmeric, Cloves, Bay leaf, Star Anise, Black cardamon, Green cardamon, Lemon juice.
