Mung Bean Dal or Mugg

A staple in any Gujarati home.
Wholesome and nourishing, Mung beans are cooked with tempered spices, tomato, curry leaf and garlic. Served at Broadway and Borough Market's for over a decade. Serve with hot buttered Chapatti. Totally delicious. 400g

Freezable - Freeze on day of delivery
Remove the film from the tray and empty the contents into into a heavy bottomed saucepan with 3-4 tbsp of water. Simmer for 5 - 8 minutes with the lid on depending on the consistency you prefer.
Stir occasionally to make sure the Dal does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Serve with Raita and sliced red onions on the side.
